Eileen Doohan
Eileen is Founder and Director of ClimateHacks.org, a non-profit organization focused on raising social capital for locally-led climate action teamwork around the world. ClimateHacks launched the 1st Climate DAO of DAOs during the UNFCCC Climate Chain Coalition annual meeting at COP25 in Madrid, deploying the decentralized autonomous governance structure on a permissioned blockchain across a global network of Raspberry Pi card-sized computers with an extremely low energy profile.
She is an architect of governance and digital frameworks that boost deployment of innovative solutions, including formal UN-ITU standards development for advanced mobile data and voice telephony, change management practice utilziing organizational design charrettes for the UNFCCC Education, Communication and Outreach stakeholder community, and decentralized collaborations of locally-led climate activations around the world. She is a member of UNFCCC Climate Chain Coalition, Mediators Beyond Borders International, a certified Appreciative Inquiry practitioner, a certified Climate Reality mentor, and a founding member of several Climate DAOs and activation networks deploying urgent carbon capture and avoidance solutions incorporating carbon farming, natural capital and energy-efficiency & renewable energy.
