Ebere Iwuagwu Akwuebu

Ebere holds an LL.B (Hons) from the Lagos State University, Lagos State and has a certificate in International Environmental Law.  She obtained her Bachelors-at -Law (B.L) at the Nigeria Law School, Lagos. She is a member of the Nigeria Bar Association (NBA), Legal Defence and Assistance Project (LEDAP), and also an accredited member of the Corporate Affairs Commission of Nigeria (CAC).

Prior to qualification as a lawyer, Ebere worked with 4th Generation Computers an IT based Human Resources as Head of Training Department. Ebere has over 5 five years experience of working with non-governmental organization. She is a strong advocate for the human rights of women and children. Before joining ELRI, she worked with the West African NGO Network (Wangonet) as the Administrative Officer Projects. 

Ebere has attended a number of empowerment programs and capacity building trainings on Alternative Dispute Resolution, Human Rights Litigation and Project Management (PMP).
