Daniel Perell joined the Baha’i International Community’s United Nations Office as a Representative in 2011. His areas of work include humanity’s relationship with the natural world, global governance, social and sustainable development, global citizenship, and disaster risk reduction. He currently serves on the Steering Committee for the Coalition for the United Nations We Need (C4UN) and as a co-chair of the Committee of Religious NGOs, Climate Working Group. He is formerly a Global Organizing Partner of the HLPF NGO Major Group and Chair of the NGO Committee for Social Development.
